Col. Elliot Piki's wife withdraws court case

The wife of Elliot Piki, a retired member of the Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) on Wednesday 28 withdrew an application she filed early this week seeking an order compelling Zimbabwe authorities to account for the whereabouts of her husband after he managed to escape from his assailants, the Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights has revealed.
Elliot Piki, 58, was allegedly abducted by armed masked men, amid claims that he was due to testify before the official probe looking into the August 1 post-election shootings which claimed the lives of at least six civilians.
