Putin snubs Mnangagwa

Russian Federation's President Vladimir Putin snubbed the welcoming ceremony done for President Emmerson Mnangagwa at the airport and preffered to send the Deputy Minsiter of Foreign Affairs to welcome him.
In a report ZBC said, "The President and his delegation touched down to snowy weather at Vnukovo Airport in the Russian capital and was received by the Russian Federation's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in charge of the Africa and the Middle East Region Mr Boganov Mikhail Leonidovich and a military guard of honour."
Mnangagwa is yet to meet Putin to explore new opportunities for cooperation between the two countries.
The President is leading a delegation which includes Ministers Perrance Shiri, Mthuli Ncube and Winston Chitando, Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe Governor Dr John Mangudya and Deputy Chief Secretary in the President's Office responsible for communication Cde George Charamba.
They are expected to spend 3 days in Russia.
Mnangagwa and his team are also scheduled to visit Belarus, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan to sell Brand Zimbabwe.
Afterwards they will proceed to Davos, Switzerland for the World Economic Forum.
President Mnangagwa is taking a round trip at a time when Zimbabwe is burning with protestors burning buildings and looting shops all over the country.
In Chitungwiza, Makoni police station was burnt to ashes while in Bulawayo Choppies Lobengula was looted and set ablaze.
Two people have been reportedly killed during the protests that are set to take three days.
