Police on Moday fired a teargas at the flat of gospel musician Lorraine Maplanka Stot. Lorraine was indoors with her husband and children.

Writing on Facebook Lorraine said, "Police are heartless. They threw teargas at our flat when we were indoors with my hubby and kids inciting no violence. Is that how citizens are protected? Nonsense! Rubbish."

Maplanka Stot, who is riding high with the eight-track album, is under the mentorship of Takesure Zamar of Worship Addicts.

On Monday violent protestors all over the country went rampage and overpowered police officers before burning down police stations and police vehicles.

In various cities they looted shops. This prompted the police to storm residential areas and fire teargas into the homes and spray residents with water canons.
