Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) Destination Marketing Manager, Ms Tesa Chikaponya revealed that the event has been oversubscribed with almost 550 delegates having confirmed participation.
ATA Executive Director, Mr Edward Bergman, who is already in Victoria Falls, commended Zimbabwe's organisational abilities, adding that discussions at the conference will centre on the issues of tourism marketing, packaging and airlines accessibility.
The Vice President, Cde Joice Mujuru is set to officially open the conference while five cabinet ministers are also expected to deliver speeches.
The last time the ATA conference was held in Zimbabwe was in 1988.
It is largely seen as an opportunity to market tourism to mainly the American market, which remains the world's biggest economy.
