Mnangagwa concludes Russia tour

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has wound up his Russian leg of the EURASIA tour with an address of the Zimbabwe Russia business forum organised by the Russian Federation Chamber of Commerce.
The meeting came just a day after the signing of nine agreements and memoranda of understanding (MOUs) with the Russian Federation in Moscow.
President Mnangagwa described the Russian Federation visit as very fruitful and will lead to greater impetus in the political and economic cooperation between the two countries.
President Mnangagwa said Harare stands ready to welcome business and investments from the Russian Federation as Zimbabwe seeks to revive, rebuild, modernise and industrialise its economy for mutual beneficial outcomes.
He said Zimbabwe takes pride in the dependable brothers and comrades of Russia, with whom the country and continent walked with from long back in the fight for freedom and in the fight for equality in the family of nations.
The ministers accompanying the President on his trip outlined the various opportunities that Zimbabwe has to offer to the world beginning with mining, agriculture, finance and economic development and the central bank.
Several representatives from the Russian side including billionare investor in the fertiliser manufacturing sector, Mr Dimitri Medal spoke highly of their experiences in Zimbabwe and the opportunities.
