The Minister of Justice Ziyambi Ziyambi has assured Zimbabweans that it has taken note of the allegations levelled against members of the security Services and they will soon be commencing investigating.
Minister Ziyambi was speaking at a Press Conference on Friday where he was commenting on the report by the Zimbabwe Human Rights Commission into the crackdown operation currently carried out by members of the Zimbabwe National army and the Zimbabwe Republic Police.
"Government wishes to assure the public that all allegations of misconduct against any of our Security Services will be thoroughly investigated and the law will be allowed to take its course." Ziyambi said.
"Those with complaints should report them to the police and they will be treated impartially and with sensitivity.
"It is also important to note that the Zimbabwe National Army has issued a statement appealing to all those who wish to complain against the Army to report their allegations to the military police."
Ziyambi further urged the media to report in a way that does not whip emotions but to help bring people together towards rebuilding the country.
Regarding the damning Zimbabwe Human Rights Commission Report, Ziyambi said it falls short of standard.
