Self-styled Communications strategist William Mutumanje has accused the police of having a personal vendetta against Saviour Kasukuwere's brother Dick mafios who was arrested for inciting violence and jailed for two years.
"I do not even know Dickson Mafios but I do know he did not incite anything worse than what the government incited. That arrest and sentence was fast, so fast it had to be personal." Mutumanje wrote on Twitter. "I wish we where that fast with corrupt government officials. Oh wait, they can't arrest themselves."
The former Zanu-PF Mashonaland Central provincial chairman Itai Dickson Mafios was on tuesday convicted of inciting people in Bindura to join the violent protests that rocked the country a fortnight ago.
In a cynical jibe Mutumanje said he is firmly behind Preside Emmerson Mnangagwa's success as a President.
"For the sake of clarity, I support Mnangagwa to succeed. I am desperate for it actually, because his failure will not affect him as badly as it will affect you and me. I also believe his presidency inenge juzi riri kurukwa one side richi rukunurwa on the other side. Ane 1 big probrem manje!"
Mutumanje' business partner Kuda Musasiwa said the govenement of president Mnangagwa is a murderous and brutal regime.
"The Zimbabwe situation will disappoint you continuously. Are there agent provocations in our midst, here to cause mayhem in Zimbabwe? Yes. There are. Is our government repressive, brutal and murderous? Yes it is. Are we a racist, tribalist, sexist, classist, corrupt people. Sadly, yes we are."
