The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) has lost a bid to overturn the Harare Magistrate' Court's decision to free on bail suspended chief magistrate Mishrod Guvamombe.
The High Court ruled that the State's application was filed out of time.
Guvamombe was recently arrested for approving the internship of former Cabinet ministers Saviour Kasukuwere and Supa Mandiwanzira at the Civil Magistrate's Court while fully aware that the two are facing criminal charges.
