President Emmerson Mnangagwa is set to address thousands of Zanu-PF supporters at a 'Thank You' rally scheduled for Mt Darwin on Saturday.
All roads lead to Mt Darwin High School this Saturday where President Mnangagwa will address a 'Thank You' rally for the people of Mashonaland Central.
The rally will be President Mnangagwa's second after leading Zanu-PF to a resounding victory in last year's July 30 harmonised elections.
The first celebratory gathering was held last year in Zvimba, Mashonaland West Province.
Zanu-PF Mashonaland Central Secretary for Information and Publicity Alfred Mufunga confirmed this weekend's rally adding preparations are at an advanced stage with transport logistics having been put in place.
"Mashonaland Central is where the liberation struggle began and as you know Zanu-PF won in all the constituencies so this is befitting," he said.
People will be picked up at their administrative points and guests are expected to be seated by 10 am.
Zanu-PF made a clean sweep of all the 18 constituencies in Mashonaland Central in the 30 July harmonised elections.
