BREAKING: Bushiri and wife granted R200 000 bail

Enlightened Christian Gathering leader Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and his wife Prophetess Mary Bushiri were granted a bail of R100 000 each on Wednesday by a Pretoria magistrate at the Specialised Commercial Crimes Court.
They are expected back in court on May 10.
Bushiri and his wife appeared in the Pretoria Specialised Commercial Crime Court after the Hawks and police arrested them on several allegations, including contravening the Exchange Control Regulations Act in relation to $1,147,200 worth of foreign currency.
Scores of Bushiri supporters flooded the streets around the court praying for the release of the Prophet.
Bushiri has been receiving from other church leaders including Pastor Mboro and his spiritual father Emeritus Uebert Angel.
