The Zanu-PF Youth League says it is organising a massive march in Harare in solidarity with President Emmerson Mnangagwa to show the world that Zimbabweans are fully behind their leader.
Addressing an Interdistrict Youth Leaders meeting in Marondera today, Zanu-PF National Youth League Secretary for the Commissariat, Godfrey Tsenengamu said the solidarity march will be staged next week to send a clear message to the country's enemies that they should keep their hands off President Mnangagwa.
"To our enemies we are saying hands off ED, he is our leader. We love him no one will attack our leader while we are there," he said.
Zanu-PF Secretary for Finance, Getrude Mabandi and Mashonaland East Provincial Youth League leader, Kelvin Mutsvairo said they will always rally behind President Mnangagwa and he will never walk alone.
"As Zanu-PF youths, we will never allow our president to be attacked by the country's detractors, so we will defend him up to the end," said Mabandi.
Mashonaland East Province has set a target of more than 100 buses for the solidarity march.
The interdistrict youth leaders meeting in Marondera was also attended by legislators, Tino Machakaire of Wedza South and Tatenda Mavetera.
