ZANU PF Spokesperson Simon Khaya Moyo has dismissed ZANU PF Youth League's National Executive attempt to boot out Politiburo Secretary for Youth Affairs Pupurai Togarepi, Secretary for Youth Affairs Lewis Matutu, Secretary for Administration Tendai Chirau and two others.
In a press release issued on Tuesday Moyo said, "The party notes with concern that disciplinary processes are being raised against party members without following proper procedures as set out in the party constitution. Most recently, Votes Of No Confidences were moved against members of the Party's National Youth Executive."
Moyo said the VONCs were previously used by members of the G40 cabal to oust officials from the party.
"Previously, disunity forces under the G40 cabal used the Vote Of No Confidence to purge party officials perceived to be against their distabilisation agenda."
Moyo emphasized that all disciplinary should be done under the constitution of the party.
