Western Union fails to dispense cash

Western Union Co is failing to dispense cash from money transfers within Zimbabwe amid a worsening shortage of US dollars.

The world's largest money transfer company declined to comment, referring questions to the central bank.

Western Union Zimbabwe franchise holder Fred Mutanda told the Daily News: "Western Union is now being managed by the RBZ so I cannot comment on that issue".
