Vice-President Joice Mujuru has again exposed the late general. Mujuru was almost in tears yesterday as she narrated "her marriage hell" to the late Retired Army General Solomon Mujuru.

Speaking at a Leadership Summit at the Pentecostal Assemblies of Zimbabwe Church in Mutare, Mujuru said her late husband was abusive and would treat his family "like a small section of the army."

"For 31 days a month, he (Mujuru) would come home and treat us as a small section of the army. I didn't revolt because I knew it was going to cause a circus. I didn't allow my children to know of the quarrels that we had in the bedroom," she said.

This is not the first time the VP has exposed the late General's infidelity.

At his memorial service in Beatrice early this month, VP Mujuru said: "I never stopped to bathe my husband's feet in June even if I knew that the previous night he had not slept at home and he was not at work. If you have a bull in your kraal, you cannot instruct it which cow to service or which one not to service. I am saying this with a bleeding heart."

At the prayer meeting, the Vice-President urged churches to pray for Zimbabwe, saying only God could save the country.

Her plea came at a time when the nation is gearing for the National Day of Prayer at venues countrywide today.
