Chiefs back SK Moyo Senatorial bid

Traditional chiefs from Bulilima and Mangwe Districts have endorsed Zanu-PF national chairman Simon Khaya Moyo as their candidate for the senatorial seat.
Speaking on behalf of all traditional leaders in the two districts during the official launch of the National Chairman's Charity Fund in Plumtree Town, Chief Masendu from Bulilima declared the chiefs support for Moyo this year.
"We are looking up to you to take our requests to Government. Most of the projects that you started before you went to South Africa have come to a standstill and we hope you continue from where you left," said Chief Masendu.
Matabeleland South Governor Angeline Masuku told the gathering that it was Khaya Moyo, who was talking about developmental projects when elected members of the House of Assembly and the Senate were quiet.
