Iranian business delegation seeks joint ventures in Zimbabwe

The Islamic People's Republic of Iran's Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Mr Mohammad Pournajaf says the visiting business delegation currently in the country seeks joint ventures with Zimbabwean small and medium scale enterprises with the aim of transferring Iranian technology to the country.
Ambassador Pournajaf told ZBC News at a local dinner function held in honour of a visiting Iranian business delegation that there is need to transfer technology that will assist Zimbabwean businesses to go into product value addition.
Ambassador Pournajaf said the Iranians will invest in areas of agriculture, mining, farming and the energy sector as they work with local small and medium scale enterprises.
Small and Medium Enterprises and Cooperative Development Minister, Cde Sithembiso Nyoni, applauded the technology transfer initiative that will see local businesses embarking in the processing of agricultural and mining products.
The minister invited local business people who would want to go into joint ventures with Iranian business people to submit their profiles.
