Zimbabwe's prosecution authority compromised

The trial of former Mines Minister Walter Chidhakwa has taken a new twist after it emerged that a record used for the application of the ex-minister's urgent chamber application could have been tampered with, a situation which has put the country's judiciary system on the spotlight.

This comes as President Mnangagwa's efforts to fight corruption are in turn increasingly being frustrated by the compromised judiciary system.
