Shock as chaos rocks ZANU PF

Chaos has rocked ZANU PF Harare Province after revelations that former Deputy Minister of Finance Terence Mukupe is engaged in a spirited fight to take over the Chairmanship of the Province.

Mukupe wants to take over form Goodwills Masimirembwa who was the chairperson of the Province before the Politiburo dissolved it earlier in March.

An insider who spoke to this publication alleged that the majority of the party's members are mobilizing a protest vote against the former legislator who is gunning for the top position.

The insider gave us the following narrative:

Terence Mukupe has formed an alliance with one Tongai Mnangagwa and Godwin Gomwe to create a faction that seeks to control Harare province.

Terence Mukupe is weak on the ground and roping in Gomwe as Provincial Commissar is set to help Mukupe's case towards the chairmanship.

However, die hard party stalwarts at district level are vowing to embarrass Mukupe's faction.

District and branch officials are opting for a more seasoned member of the province to take over the reins from Goodwill masimirembwa

The preferred candidate is Oliver Chidawu who is politically mature and understands the Harare province internal politics and has the backing of old ladies who control the grassroots structures in Harare.  One Mr Gift Mabhaudhi is touted as the favourite for land Secretary disability

And Godwin Gomwe for Provincial commissar
