Goodness and Mercy Ministries founder and lead pastor Prophet Tapiwa Freddy leads the All Night Spiritual Spectacles Bulawayo Edition crusade at White City Stadium on Friday night
THOUSANDS of people drawn from all corners of Matabeleland region on Friday night thronged White City Stadium in Bulawayo to attend the All Night Spiritual Spectacles edition in the city, which was hosted by Harare-based Prophet Tapiwa Freddy of Goodness and Mercy Ministries.
This is the second crusade the preacher has taken to Bulawayo, having been to the city in June 2017.
Freddy, who has hogged the limelight with the "spiritual spectacles", said many of the congregants gave their lives to Christ.
The crusade, which started at 8pm till yesterday morning was characterised by miracles and wonders as God demonstrated His power through Freddy.
"A lot of people made their way into the stadium and received Christ through the ‘spiritual spectacles,'" Freddy told Standard Style.
"Several people managed to see the second world on that particular night."
A myriad of people that had conditions ranging from disability, terminal illnesses, blindness, to problems of marriages, among others, were also assisted.
The crusade, which was the first of a series to be held across the country this year by the "spiritual spectacles" specialist, was spiced by the Goodness and Mercy Ministries praise and worship team as well as gospel artistes Mathias Mhere, Agatha Murudzwa, Bethen Pasinawako-Ngolomi and Sisters of Paradise.
Freddy said he was on a mission to transform the lives of people.
Prophet Freddy was born in Musana in Mashonaland Central Province. He said he got a calling from God at a tender age.
"My parents claimed that when I was 18 months old, I could prophesy. Mine was a calling from God and in 2005, I had founded Goodness and Mercy Ministries," he said.
He said the church's sermons are recorded and available on CDs, DVDs and the church's Facebook page and websites, as well as the church's television channel GMMTV. He also gives sermons on ZTV on Saturday morning.
