Woman donates fraud money to church

A Mutare woman has been dragged to court for fraudulently selling a family residential stand and donated part of the money to church.
Martha Chiseko sold the family stand for $20 000 and donated $6 000 to the Celebration Church.
Mutare magistrate Anne Ndiraya last week sentenced Chiseko to 10 months in prison but the sentence was wholly suspended on condition that she pays her husband $20 000 within the next two months.
Chiseko reportedly took advantage of her husband's trip to South Africa in April and advertised the family stand at a local newspaper.
After selling the stand, Chiseko invested $10 000 to an investment company and gave $6 000 to the church.
After her arrest, police recovered the $16 000 and the rest could not be accounted for.
