Nigerian scammers target Chombo

Nigerian scammers have pounced on former Minister Home Affairs Igatius Chombo by creating a fake email which they have circulating to various emails to various people across the world pleading for Financial Partnership.
In the purported letter Chombo is quoted saying, "Few months ago Financial Investigators in Zimbabwe series of search into my business concerns claiming that I established dummy companies which I used to transfer funds out of my country to as a serving Minister under Mugabe.
"We currently have One hundred Million United States Dollars kept in a facility in South Africa. We thus propose to do business with you standing as the beneficiary of the funds to enable us to transfer it out of South Africa.
"I want to assure you that the procedure will be transparent and the funds are of no risk value. I will give you 20% of the funds for your assistance while I will use the balance for investments in your country. "
The scam has been around for ages and originates from the Western country of Nigeria. When the recipient of the letter responds, successive conversations will be made leading to the recipient losing some money.
