New laws for children under 18 years going to South Africa

The South African government has announced new laws for children under the age of 18 years travelling to South Africa either accompanied or unaccompanied.
A summary of the new laws is as follows:
Travelling with one parent must hold:
A valid passport, a copy of a birth certificate or equivalent document. A parental consent letter from the absent parent or guardian or letter of special circumstances or a court order granting full parental responsibilities and rights to the present parent.
With an adult other than a parent
A valid passport, copy of a birth certificate or equivalent document. Parental consent letter (S). Identification documents of parents and their contact details.
