Hwende trial postponed

Chairman of the ICT Parliamentary Portfolio Committee Honorable Charlton Hwende will be back in court on the 7 May 2019 to answer charges of seeking to subvert a constitutionally elected government, the state spoke today during court proceedings.
The legislator allegedly posted messages on his Twitter handle between December 28, and 31, last year inciting people to oust the Emmerson Mnangagwa government.
The defence has since rejected any association with the Twitter account, arguing that it does not belong to Hwende.
