Mnangagwa blocks workers from celebrating Easter holidays

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has directed all workers dealing with Cyclone Idai related works which include construction, relief and rehabilitation must remain at work during the Easter holidays.
The country is going for Independence and Easter holidays which commence on Thursday.
Mnangagwa further said the workers must not take leave during the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair period so that there is uninterrupted attention towards the affected areas and victims.
In a statement issued on Wednesday Mnangagwa said this applies to Ministers, Permanent Secretaries, officials and Aid agencies cooperating with government.
Cyclone Idai killed at least 300 people during its strike.
Aid agencies and embassies have been working tirelessly to proving necessary relief funding.
