Douglas Mwonzora face arrest as warrant of arrest issued against him

MDC-T national spokesperson Douglas Mwonzora faces imminent arrest after a Harare magistrate issued a warrant of arrest against him on Tuesday for absconding from court in a fraud case.
Mwonzora, was supposed to be in court to answer charges relating to a 2005 Z$350million fraud as he is accused of tricking a Masvingo woman, Elizabeth Mary Adams over a sale of a plot.
However, Mwonzoza was is South Africa yesterday and Harare magistrate Hosea Mujaya did not hesitate to issue a warrant of arrest.
Mwonzora is jointly charged with his client Alfred Muchini who allegedly bought the plot.
Muchini was in court yesterday and remanded to June 26.
