A disrespectful man has the guts to hire prostitutes in his wife's presence, it is alleged. Oliver Chamunorwa of Epworth is alleged to have developed a habit of bringing prostitutes into their matrimonial house, his wife Letwin Nyakatsapa revealed in court.
She was seeking a protection order against her husband. Oliver however did not regret his conduct because he has made it clear to Letwin that he no longer loved her.
"She eloped to me and I told her that I don't love her. I have no feelings for her," said Oliver.
Letwin said Oliver was the one who proposed to her and married her but now he was tormenting her and starving her of her conjugal rights!
"We are just husband and wife by virtue of sleeping on the same bed, but I am not enjoying my conjugal rights. When I confront him demanding to sleep with him, he threatens to assault me," lamented Letwin who also accused her husband of neglecting their child.
Magistrate Milton Serima who presided over the case passed ruling in Letwin's favour. Oliver is to refrain from abusing Letwin or behave in any manner that is tantamount to disturbing her peace. Magistrate Serima further advised Letwin to apply for maintenance if Oliver is not looking after their child.
