Ward 28 Councillor Kidwell Mujuru was on Wednesday sworn into office by the Town Clerk following the Ward 28 By election.
The Mayor of Bulawayo His Worship Solomon Mguni the Mayor welcomed him to Council after he had taken his oath of office.
Mujuru is the only ZANU PF Councillor and the first to hold office in 19 years.
He defeated MDC Alliance candidates after they fielded two candidates.
