PHOTOS:Heavy military presence as Mnangagwa visits Matapi flats

On Monday President Emmerson Mnangagwa visited Matapi flats where he did a tour of the newly refurbished area.
The refurbishment of the flats involved the painting of buildings, rehabilitation of the sewer and water system. Steel doors and broken windows have also been replaced. Harare City Council offices at Matapi and Matapi Clinic have also had work done.
Speaking after the tour Mnangagwa said, "After the tragic fire in July at the Matapi Flats in Mbare, we promised the residents that their homes would be renovated and restored. I was happy today to return to Mbare to see the excellent work that is being done."
