Congress delegates I once again reiterate my considered clarion call to have the two tightly competing seniors of our party to be deployed in this manner, I mean Honourable Biti and Senator Komichi, I profoundly believe the President and his top leadership will consider reconfiguring the standing committee.

This is one critical area of reform, the human asset is the most invaluable component to any organisation.

I have read one journalist Hope well Chin'ono's piece that continues to call for Hon Biti to be one of the vice Presidents, but as an insider, I substantively differ with him on this one.

There are serious political considerations that should not be ignored.

Hon Biti is a feisty character, a balanced scholar of some repute, a smart thinker, but honestly he has to be given time to gain the trust of the people it will be too soon, moreso people should seriously consider to confirm and reassert that loyalty and consistency at Presidium level is indispensable, Senator Komichi should be rewarded with the post of Vice President.

Hon Biti should be appointed Secretary for Policy research and international relations, this position should be a standing committee position with other key portfolios.

We all know how Hon Biti is good at producing brilliant policies, he is an internationally recognised scholar who can easily complement the President to raise the bar of our party internationally, he can also use his links to the world financial hub to complement our treasury department.

This is an opportunity to have a recast on our portfolio secretariat to effectively utilise them for the benefit of the party.

I hope and trust that as Congress delegates we will come up with a decision for posterity and give the institution a new look.
