George Charamba goes missing

Presidential Affairs Spokesperson George Charamba is a man who is missing in action at a time when the President and his Administration are facing relentless attacks from citizens who are bearing the brunt of the challenges affecting Zimbabwe.
Former Cabinet Minister Professor Jonathan Moyo said the former Permanent Secretary's silent is deafening.
"Hashtag where is Charamba? Rome is burning." Said Noyo. " And the loquacious presidential spokesperson is speaking through silence with a loud message whose consequences are deafening."
Journalist Brighton Musonza however said politics is like sports where people can get out of for.
"In politics like in football you are not expected to be on form all the time. George Charamba is off form; and you are still in the transfer market looking for a club to join. Politics has no infinite currency. And this is the way it should be." Musonza replied.
Zimbabwe has been facing increasing challenges from shortage of fuel, shortage of foreign currency, water and electricity shedding and the loss of value in the Zimbabwean currency.
President Emmerson Mnangagwa has not attracted any meaningful investor since assuming office after a bloody coup that ended 7 years of Robert Mugabe's iron rule.
