WATCH: CID officers heavily assaulted by money changers

Illegal money changers in Chinhoyi assaulted CID officers who tried to arrest them on Monday afternoon.

In a video that has surfaced online the money changers are seen ganging up on the money plain clothes police details and beating them up.

Illegal money traders have been operating in the country since time immemorial.

There are long standing allegations that the money changers are working with Senior government officials and the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe.
