The new Minister of Energy and Power Development Advocate Fortune Chasi has assured Zimbabweans that he will put together a board that will make sure there is no fuel shortage.
Chasi was speaking ahead of his swearing in as Cabinet Minister on Wednesday morning.
"We are going to be strong on the governance of parastatals." Chasi said. "We will put together Boards that are sufficient skilled to ensure that fuel and power are supplied on a continuous basis."
Chasi also revealed the composition of the Boards will be mixed with young and old, women and men.
A day before his swearing in ceremony, the price of fuel shot up raising speculations that Chasi has been set up for failure.
