How Simon Khaya Moyo survived Chiwenga's coup

Ambassador Simon Khaya Moyo survived the bloody November 2017 coup that saw Robert Mugabe's lieutenants being killed or exiled because his son is married to Minister July Moyo's daughter, Professor Jonathan Moyo has revealed.
July Moyo is President Emmerson Mnangagwa's right hand man.
Professor Moyo was responding to a question by a Twitter user who said, "How did SK Moyo become part of the New Dispensation if anything he might just as well be equally deceitful and disloyal?"
"His son is married to July Moyo's daughter. The rest is history!" Prof Moyo responded.
Ambassador Simon Khaya Moyo is credited for announcing a press statement that fired Mnangagwa from government in November 2017
"Mnangagwa discharges his duties in a manner inconsistent with his official duties, he is disloyal, is disrespectful, deceitful, unreliable and shows a lack of probity in the execution of his duties," Khaya Moyo told the media on 6 November 2017.
Few days after Khaya Moyo's speech, the military led by General Constantino Chiwenga unleashed a coup that that saw some officials like Central intelligence Organisation District Officer Peter Munetsi being killed and officials like Prof Moyo, Mandi Chimhene and Saviour Kasukuwere being exiled.
Prof Moyo insists that the above description of Mnangagwa by SK Moyo is a true historical description that will withstand the test of time.
