Prophetic, Healing and Deliverance Ministries leader Prophet Walter Magaya's "spiritual son", Prophet Chamunorwa Nyamupinga, has set July 28 as a Big Sunday of spiritual turnaround.
The charismatic Nyamupinga has risen to fame through prophecy and deliverance miracles at his base in Kadoma, where he fronts the All Families International Church (AFIC). Since 2015, the church has grown from strength to strength to become one of the most sought-after ministries in the country.
In an exclusive interview with Standard Style, Prophet Nyamupinga described July 28 as the Big Sunday where people of all nations must throng at the AFIC in the populous suburb of Rimuka in Kadoma.
"I was born in the month of July and so this year I have set July 28 as a day for a Special and Big Sunday that should transform lives of people," Prophet Nyamupinga said.
"It will be a single day of the year 2019 that will be like no other. It will be a Sunday for birth of testimonies."
Christians from all walks of life and beyond the borders and particularly nationals from Sadc countries have become regular visitors of Prophet Nyamupinga. His preaching and deliverance prowess has been the hallmark of his ministry.
"I am inviting Christians of all churches to come and be with us. The power of God will be in abundance at our place of worship," he said.
"We have held Big Sundays before, but this one will be bigger and different. Anyone who comes will go back with blessings and for them 2019 will be a year to remember in their lifetime."
This year scores of people have stood up during church services to tell testimonies born out of the hands of the man of God. On the other hand, Prophet Nyamupinga has traversed the country to help people and answer distress calls of those under the burden of evil spirits.
"For the July 28 Big Sunday I wish all the other ministries could temporarily shut down their assemblies and join us in Kadoma," he said.
"We will not mind if people come dressed in the regalia of their churches. It will not be a day about AFIC alone, but a day for all to celebrate God. We must unite as churches and avoid fighting or competing. So, I am saying my invitation is universal to all."
Various activities like performances by dancehall artistes and foreign musicians are expected at the Big Sunday where preachers from other ministries will grace the occasion.
AFIC overseer Pharaoh Neuso assured those who will come of a warm reception and tight security.
"Everyone will be treated like a guest of honour on the Big Sunday. We extend our invitations to all the people who want to have their burden eased by Prophet Nyamupinga," Neuso said.
