Cheating woman nabbed for abortion

A married but cheating Mutare woman who supposedly could not live any longer without playing the bedroom game chose to have unprotected sex with her boyfriend, while her husband was still in South Africa. Little did Laiza Kangoma know that 'the wages of unprotected sex is pregnancy'. This did not go down too well with the alleged adulterous woman since she is currently breastfeeding a few months old baby who is believed to be her husband's child.
The woman, who couldn't stand carrying her boyfriend's transforming sperm in her womb, decided to terminate the pregnancy by using a traditional herb known as mafuta. Luck ran out of her when she got arrested last week after she was reportedly caught flashing the foetus into a toilet.
Police said Kangoma connived with her boyfriend Charles Chipandu to terminate the unplanned and highly unwanted pregnancy before her foreign-based husband could learn about the adulterous affair.
"She inserted a traditional herb known as mafuta and the pregnancy was aborted. She then flushed the foetus into a toilet. Police received a tip-off from neighbours and the woman got arrested. We encourage married couples to be faithful and desist from engaging in multiple relationships. As police we are against adultery. Abortion is a crime, and we urge members of public not to do so," Assistant Inspector Enock Chishiri who is the Acting Manicaland provincial police spokesperson.
Reports say Kangoma has since been ditched by her husband and has been evicted from their matrimonial home which is situated at House No. 393 Hobhouse 1.
"Her husband came from South Africa and was fuming. He ordered her to pack her belongings and vacate. We don't know where she is right now, but she must be in police custody," said a tenant who stays at the same house.
Kangoma was expected to appear in court this week facing abortion charges.
