Mthuli Ncube to hire new communications officer

Finance minister Mthuli Ncube said they will be hiring a communications person to help them explain government policies to the general populace.

On Monday, Ncube told guests at the Daily News Business Breakfast Forum held to discuss the implications of the re-introduction of the Zimbabwean dollar that government's policies were not being properly communicated hence the need for an expert to manage the portfolio.

Sometime in October 2018, Ncube hired and fired Acie Lumumba as Chairman of the Ministry Finance and Economic Development Communications Taskforce.
