This Tuesday Carl Joshua Ncube reintroduced Stan's up comedy to VICTORIA Falls with his first show in close to a year in the tourist town.
The pop-up comedy show was launched on Tuesday 9th of July as part of the comedian's preparations for his first one-man show in Johannesburg in the Goliath and Goliath series of One Night Stands. Working with the River Brewing Co,
Carl says that comedy in Zimbabwe is economically difficult to put together when you have to move from Venue to venue and VICTORIA Falls needs to have a single stand-alone stand-up comedy club in order to grow the industry.
The Zimbabwean comedy veteran has been known to attempt for many years to bring this dream to fruition with many setbacks along the way but has maintained that his determination has not been dampened and that he will continue pressing the dream of a comedy club being started in the tourist town.
This series of pop up comedy shows at the River Brewing Co attracted a great crowd of locals and international guests on its first night and Ncube is very confident the popularity will certainly grow in Victoria Falls.
