The late Julius Zingwe, who was shot dead in Chinhoyi a fortnight ago, was buried in Mhangura last week with his family members calling on government to compensate them for his death.
Zingwe was shot dead by the police in a shooting incident while travelling in a Toyota Wish believed to have been stolen in Harare last month.
His uncle Munashe Chitsa said the family would leave no stone unturned until justice prevailed.
"Our son had nothing to do with the stealing of the vehicle. He was given a lift to Mhangura while coming from ordering bananas in Chinhoyi," he said.
Zingwe's wife Saloni Bere said her husband used to work for the then Farmers Corp but was now a banana vendor, which was affirmed by many who spoke at the funeral.
