Panic as General Chiwenga is airlifted to China

Presidential Spokesperson George Charamba has informed the nation that Vice President Constantino Dominic Nyikadzino Guvheya Chiwenga has been airlifted to China for further treatment.
Said Charamba, "the Office of the President and Cabinet wishes to inform the nation that the Vice President this week left for the People's Republic of China where he is set to undergo further medical tests. His relocation to China which builds on the satisfactory recovery he is making follows weekend discussing at the highest level between governments of Zimbabwe and China, at which the decision was taken to allow Chinese medical experts to join their expert counterparts from Zimbabwe, South Africa and India to attend to the Vice President."

Chiwenga has been unwell since the November 2017 bloody coup that ended 37 years of Robert Mugabe's iron rule.
