Three MRP members who protested against ZANU PF Youths who stood up to silence Terrence Wisdom Mkhwananzi who was testifying at the Motlante Commission concerning the death of his parents at the hands of 5th brigade Army that led to the butchering of over 40 000 innocent Ndebeles have been found guilty and are now in custody awaiting judgement on Wednesday the 07th of August 2019.
Marshall Sibanda, Welcome Moyo and Vinnet Ncube were arrested at Rainbow Hotel, it is surprising that after President ED Mnangagwa have publicly announced that people are now free to talk about Gukurahundi our members have been found guilty of exercising their Constitutional rights to demonstrate and petition, to make matters worse the commission itself promised to protect those who participated during their fact finding hearings but on the case of our members nothing was done to protect them.
We are not surprised though and obviously not shaken and the struggle continues.
Long live Mthwakazi.
