Itai Dzamara Trust to be launched

The family of the missing journalist Itai Dzamara is launching a trust named after him and dedicated to perpetuate his memory.
Announcing the launch activist Patson Dzamara said, "We are launching the Itai Dzamara trust on his birthday on 07 August next week. The dream is alive. Thank you all for your support and you are invited. Mega blessings."
In 2014 Dzamara began his one-man protest movement which was an incredibly dangerous goal.
Despite arrests and beatings, Dzamara returned to sit in Africa Unity Square, a tree-filled park in the centre of Harare, holding his sign: "Failed Mugabe must step down."
Then, on 17 October 2014, he took his protest a step further. He and two other protesters, Tichaona Danho and Philosophy Nyapfumbi, hand-delivered a petition to Mr Mugabe's office asking him to step down.
