Dabengwa funded Ramaphosa's campaign with R500 000

Former MTN group CEO and Eskom board member Sifiso Dabengwa funded the South Africa President Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa's campaign with a whopping R500 000.
President Ramaphosa is accused of being a front of businesspersons who funded the CR17 campaign that saw his trounce Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma in the race to lead the ANC.
The Zimbabwean born Dabengwa was one of the key campaign members who fundraised for Ramaphosa and was allegedly rewarded with a board appointment at the country's' power utility company Eskom.
Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane recently said there is merit to allegations that Ramaphosa might have used trusts and complex financial transactions to disguise laundering of more than R440m donated to his ANC presidential campaign.
In July Trustee of the Cyril Ramaphosa Foundation and former CEO of the Shanduka Group, Phuthi Mahanyele-Dabengwa, was appointed the new CEO of Naspers SA a company that owns DSTV and Multi choice and a huge media network that supports Ramaphosa.
Phuthi Mahanyele-Dabengwa is the wife of Sifiso Dabengwa. The Dabengwas are related to the late ZPRA Intelligence Supremo Dumiso Dabengwa.
