MDC-T recruiting youths for military training

PRIME Minister Morgan Tsvangirai's MDC-T is recruiting youths for military training in a move aimed to counter the controversial national youth service.
The recruitment began in May in Matabeleland South.
"We have started recruiting our own youths to counter the green bombers" said an MDC-T insider.
However, party spokesperson Douglas Mwonzora said the recruitment is a "skills development programme "
" That we are recruiting the youths in line with the national youth programee or to beef up or security structures is not true and mischievous. Instead we are recruiting these youths for training at various vocational training centers countrywide.
" We are focusing on skills development programmes like building and carpentry" said Mwonzora.
