Tsvangirai moves into new house with new wife

Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai and his new wife, Elizabeth Macheka are reported to have moved into the house purchased by government in Highlands despite ongoing investigations being carried out by the Anti-Corruption Commission into his alleged US$1,5 million double dipping scandal.
Latest investigations showed that Tsvangirai and his wife have embarked on a high spending shopping spree to secure furniture for the controversial Highlands house.
Sources privy to the developments said Tsvangirai, who recently paid lobola for Elizabeth Macheka, is under pressure to secure his newly acquired love bird a suitable place to settle.
The sources revealed that Macheka was spotted on many occasions at the house where property worth thousands of dollars was being offloaded by an expensive local furniture manufacturing company.
Tsvangirai has started moving some of his belongings to the house, amid speculations that Tsvangirai and his new love bird want to be occupying the house ahead of their wedding set for next month.
Tsvangirai's Spokesperson, Luke Tamborinyoka dismissed the allegations of double dipping, saying the Highlands house has been bought for the Premier by the government, adding that his boss will be moving into the house anytime soon.
However other sources accused the Premier for what they described as a clear case of invasion as Mr Tsvangirai is currently under investigations on allegations of prejudicing the government US$1,5 million.
While efforts to get a comment from the Prime Minister himself were fruitless, Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission Chairman, Denford Chirindo could not deny or confirm that his commission and the police are at an advanced stage of investigating the Premier over the alleged double dipping scandal.
Documents in possession of state media clearly indicate that Mr Tsvangirai received US$1,5 million from the central bank and another US$1,5 million from treasury for the same purpose.
The Minister of Finance, Tendai Biti has since distanced himself from the scandal.
