President Robert Mugabe is back from Singapore where he had gone for medical check-ups.
President Mugabe was met at the Harare International Airport by Vice President, Joice Mujuru, the Minister of Defence, Emmerson Mnangagwa, Transport, Communication and Infrastructural Development Minister, Nicholas Goche, the Minister of State Security, Sydney Sekeramayi, service chiefs and other senior government officials.
A June 2008 U.S. diplomatic cable released by WikiLeaks last year said Mugabe had prostate cancer that had spread to other organs. His doctor urged him to step down in 2008, according to the cable.
Mugabe left Harare on Monday morning for a routine medical checkup in Singapore.
