Mines and Mining Development minister Obert Mpofu is embroiled in a messy row with a widow over a truck which the minister is refusing to release.
The widow, Sharlone Shenje on Wednesday filed an urgent court application asking to the court to force Mpofu to let got of the truck which he has been holding on since 2009.
Basing on court papers, Shenje's husband- Themba Sibanda died in 2006.
She was then appointed executor of the estate the following year.
However, Mpofu took the truck saying he was owed money by Roy Muleya who was a business partner with to Sibanda.
Muleya was renting a warehouse in Bulawayo belonging to Mpofu and disappeared without paying rental amounting to $20 000.
Now Mpofu, one of the richest cabinet ministers says he would only hand back the truck if he recovers the money.
Shenje says the truck has nothing to do with Muleya owing Mpofu the money.
In August 2011, Mpofu was ordered by the Master of High court to release the truck but failed.
