Zanu-PF thug dies in remand prison

Eric Katiza, one of the seven Zanu-PF supporters in remand prison in Mutoko for allegedly murdering Cephas Magura, the MDC-T Ward 1 chairperson in Mudzi North two months ago has died.
Katiza, a teacher at Chimukoko Primary School in Mudzi died on Tuesday morning after collapsing in his cell. Other Zanu-PF members in remand prison facing charges of murdering Magura are; David Chimukoko, a councillor, Gratiano Kazingizi, Perkins Karikoga, Biggie Office, Bob Raphael and Phillip Katsande.
Katsande is the son of Aqualinah Katsande, the Zanu-PF MP for Mudzi West.
Magura was allegedly murdered by Zanu-PF hooligans at a sanctioned MDC rally in full view of the police in May. A post mortem done in Harare revealed that Magura was stoned to death by Zanu-PF activists at Chimukoko Business Centre. Aqualinah Katsande and another Zanu-PF MP, Newten Kachepa of Mudzi North have been implicated in Magura's murder and violence that rocked the area in May.
