Smallhouse dumps baby at married boyfriend's workplace

A marriage is under threat after a suspected smallhouse dumped a baby at her boyfriend's workplace in Mbare. This incident has caused cracks in the man's marriage as the wife feels burdened.
The wife, Memory Chikomo of House No. 3814 Manyame Park was not amused with the development. The ten-month-old baby belongs to the suspected small house Sheila Nyaungwe who was having an adulterous affair with her husband William Maziwa (25). The 22-year-old Memory said she feels burdened to look after the child who belongs to the SAME woman who also snatched her husband from her.
"Sheila went to my husband's workplace at Mbare Hardware and dumped the child at his office door step a month ago and my husband brought the child home.Since then I have been looking after the child, I have nothing against the baby but it has not been easy for me because the child always reminds me of her mother Sheila. My husband and I went to Matapi Police station and we reported the baby dumping matter but the police are still looking for Sheila and she is nowhere to be found. She is getting the best of me because at first she made my husband cheat on me and now she is burdening me with looking after her baby."
"The child is always sick and is refusing to eat. I cannot take him to the doctor because when she (Sheila) dumped him she did not bring his hospital cards as well. Every night we sleep very late because the baby will be crying and I can't take this anymore," said Memory wiping tears rolling down her cheeks.
She went on to say that she believes that her husband is not the paternal father of the child.
"My husband is not the father of this child because some few weeks ago when the child became sick, I went and consulted a prophet in Epworth about the sickness. I was told that for the child to be well he has to be taken to his biologic father and the only person who knows the real father of the child is Sheila. What is also worrying me is that my husband's elder brother hates me so much and he once got me arrested after he lied to the police that I had assaulted Sheila," she said.
Meanwhile, William also said that he doubts if he is the real father of the baby.
"Well, Sheila and I had an affair some time ago but it's over now, but I don't think that I am the real father of her baby because of reasons I cannot disclose to you. I am looking for Sheila and I once heard that she is now staying in Mutare but if there is anyone out there who can also help me with information I will be more than grateful," he said.
Sheila could not be reached for comment since her whereabouts remain unknown.
