Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai is meeting the controversial Zimbabwean ambassador Jaqcueline Zwambila together with Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard on his current visit to Australia.
This will be the first time Tsvangirai on Aussie soil meets ambassador Zwambila whose personal conduct has in the past two years disgraced both the MDC-T party and the nation at large.
A spokesperson for the Australian PM told the local APP news service: "Prime Minister Tsvangirai is a very welcome visitor to Australia,"
"He has been a tireless champion of democracy and freedom in Zimbabwe and remains so today as a leading figure in the inclusive government."
Tsvangirai is also due to meet Australian opposition foreign affairs spokeswoman Julie Bishop in Sydney on Sunday morning and then on Monday, he will meet the Australian Prime Minister, Gillard.
