Transport and tour operator Pathfinder Luxury Coaches has acquired two world class double decker coaches, Zimbabwe's New Ziana reported.
Pathfinder customer care consultant Petronella Njerere said the 60-seater buses will provide tourists with transport services that are in line with global standards.
"We believe that the new coaches will attract more locals to visit different tourist attractions in the country. It will also help to improve the country's competitiveness in providing luxurious tourist travel facilities in the region," Njerere said.
The coaches are equipped with internet ports, television satellite channels, power points and a coffee machine, among other facilities.
Njerere said the company would maintain old fares charged by existing buses.
Pathfinder is the first company to introduce such buses in Zimbabwe and the second in Africa after neighbouring South Africa.
The Zimbabwe Tourism Authority projected that domestic tourism is poised to grow this year following affordable packages that the hospitality industry is putting in place.
